Our First Wedding! “Do you cater weddings?” My response has always been no. But when the bride mentioned her adoration for Eggplant Caponata, I knew she was the client to change my mind. An oversized cheese display with honeycomb was definitely a necessity as well as her beloved caponata- done the Sicilian way with roasted sweet peppers, red onions, eggplant, caper berries and ricotta salata.
Surprise Cocktail Party: We loved throwing a festive surprise with a lively group of 50! On the menu: Pistachio Cranberry Cheese Ball with Maple; heavenly Caramelized Onion Dip with Crudités and Toasts; Chipotle Meatball Sliders with Pepperjack and Chimichurri; Italian Sausage and Gruyere- Stuffed Creminis; Antipasto Skewers with Marinated Mozzarella.
Holiday Ladies Luncheon: This winter Ladies Luncheon was nothing less than lovely. We nestled a trio of Thai Butternut Carrot Soup with Maple Brioche Croutons; Roasted Chicken Salad with Dried Apricots and Cashews; and a Winter Fruit Salad atop gorgeous blue china.
